Melanie Krinsky founded and is Head of Western Alliance Bank’s Entertainment and Media Group, which has underwritten approximately $1.4 billion in commitments since the group launched in 2021.

With more than 35 years in the industry, Ms. Krinsky is recognized throughout the United States and internationally as a leader among top entertainment lenders. Previously, she has been part of successful entertainment departments at Bank Hapoalim, First Republic Bank, Bank Leumi USA, and City National Bank.

Ms. Krinsky has structured many complex film/TV production loans, library acquisitions, music publishing deals, and revolving lines of credit facilities. She leads Western Alliance Bank in participating in large, syndicated deals in the entertainment industry, and often Western Alliance is titled as a joint lead arranger.

Additionally, Ms. Krinsky is an expert in all classes of entertainment assets such as tax incentives, studio ultimates, library valuations, production credits, print and ads credits, and gap financing. Throughout her impressive career, she has been a featured speaker on financial and entertainment panels at film festivals and other industry events in the United States and abroad.

Ms. Krinsky holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Finance & Marketing from the University of Southern California.
